Where has time gone? I can't believe it's been a year since I last wrote something in this blog section. 2010 just slipped on by!

This entry is really just an exercise to get me "back in the flow" of expression. Like anyone cares! LOL. I find it amazing how written word can sometimes allow one to find comfort. Maybe it's just a pleasant distraction.

Regardless of the motivation, this type of format serves as a constant reminder that we are FREE people and have the luxury of self expression through writing, painting, making music, conversation, and in today's social networking websites. They are all wonderful ways to express our ideas - regardless of how off-the-wall some might be. To stopping expressing our opinions is to take freedom for granted. So here I am...writing...just to write... and it feels good!

Although I am just a guitar player (like one piece of sand in a great big ocean) my writings sometimes take on political overtones. I may come across as a liberal or a conservative, or just plain stupid. My main goal is to seek "balance" regardless of the leanings. And when I started "blogging" it was an election year. So that didn't help much in the "extremely opinionated" category. I don't take it too serious...and it doesn't make much difference except for "maybe" a handful of people that might stumple across these.

I'll admit...I do prefer spending my time drifting away in a killer guitar solo. But isn't this cool! Ha...the world is such a better place than 10 or 20 or 30 years ago. I get tired of the negativity. We live in the greatest country on Earth in the greatest of times! Hopefully...all 2 of you that read this can find something inspirational from these words. I guess the number one virtue is LOVE and LIGHT! Well that's two... kinda...but you get the idea.

There...I feel better... don't you. Whew...I actually wrote something! Now back to playing guitar.
